Areas of Support
Private giving to the UConn Law School Foundation is one of the primary sources of funding for programs and activities that enrich the UConn Law experience and make it unique. Gifts from alumni and friends are also vital to ensuring that the opportunities at the Law School are available for everyone, regardless of income level. Through their giving, donors join a family of supporters who have for generations helped educate attorneys who foster beneficial change in our society and in their communities.

Faculty Positions and Support

With gifts for endowed faculty positions and faculty support, the Law School is able to draw upon permanent resources that are critical to the Law School’s ability to employ a faculty that excels at teaching and scholarship. Endowed faculty funds help the Law School attract the best and brightest scholars in the world and provide them with resources to advance their programs, research, scholarship, and teaching.  Read more about Faculty Positions and Support »

Scholarships

Our goal is to assure that all qualified students can attend UConn Law regardless of their financial background. The inclusion of students from all economic levels and all walks of life helps to bring a rich perspective to the Law School as well as the broader legal community. And scholarships transform lives. Increasing the level of giving to scholarship funds is essential to address the problem of increasing student debt and to give graduates a leg up in pursuit of their dreams.  New lawyers should be comfortable pursuing careers driven by their passions rather than their financial concerns.
